Viktor Rakonczai was born on October 16, 1976 in Hungary.
 
One of the most distinguished and beloved young Hungarian composers who owes his fame to his frequent collaborations with the established artists as well as newcomers but also to his composition for the film and documentaries.
 
Even though for years he was a successful recording artist himself (V.I.P), Viktor has the unique ability to understand the emotions of other artists and can easily experience in all musical styles. Thus, he is well known for his collaborations with many local and foreign stars.

His more recent work include composing for:
 
Kati Wolf  - “What About My Dreams”   / Eurovision 2011 contest participant
 
Iwona Wegrowska (Poland)  - “Ty I Ja – Moj Sen”
 
Justyna Steczkowska (Poland) -  “Prosze Cie,sklam”
 
and many more.
 
He has also undertaken several commissions as a musical arranger and sound engineer.

Hungarian collecting society Artisjus named Viktor “The Best Composer of 2004”. A year later the main radio award for the composer of the year went to Viktor as well.
 
 
Though this might not yet be his main occupation, Viktor is a higly skilled film composer, able to create film music scores that intensify the film scene emotion and drama and can easily deliver the sounds that are valuable contribution to the success of any film or TV production.
His most recognizable film work comes from his close collaboration with the Hungarian feature film directors being also involved in composing for documentaries.
